reasons i hate cold stone creamery
1. it feels so corporate. let's be honest. i'm corporate america's whore. just look in my closet. and one of the things i miss most about missouri is panera. but ice cream.... ice cream should be pure and simple and non-franchised.
2. the line. it is always so long. and it moves so slowly.
3. the up-sell. no, i don't want a "love it." i know it's only 40 cents more, but i want a "like it." and just for asking, i'm never, ever going to buy a "love it."
4. the employees. don't you just want to punch them? i swear, i think cold stone breeds those creepy bastards. and they always look at you like they deserve a tip. i'll tell you who gets tips: employees at doc's, not you punks. here's a tip: work in a real ice cream shop.
5. it's just not the same as a regular ice cream shop.

and yet, i still keep going there. that says something for proximity.
