you might be wondering where i've been
well, i've been watching a lot of television these days, so i haven't had time to post. i'm going through a bit of a reality renaissance lately. i don't think i've watched this much reality tv on a consistent basis since my trashy dating show infatuation.

what's on my reality tv platter...or tv tray, if you will? well, road rules for one. i'm a bit of a late bloomer when it comes to this show—i never watched an episode before last season. and while this cast isn't as entertaining as last year's bunch, nor as good at completing their missions (c'mon they've lost three people now!), it's still as addictive as crack cocaine.

i've also fallen in love with andy dick's the assistant. this show has to be the funniest thing on television. i'm not sure what's the best part: the blatant ripoffs of other reality shows, andy dick's manic behavior, or the fact the contestants take everything so seriously. i've never really been an andy dick fan before, but this show won me over fast.

finally, i give a big thumbs up to amish in the city. the fine folks at upn (who knew this network was even still on?) have served up a winner. it manages to be entertaining without exploiting the amish at all (okay...too much). instead, it exploits the "city kids." and really, they're pretty dumb, so they deserve it.

i have not watched the ashlee simpsonshow. ashlee, you are not your sister. and it is painfully obvious.

tv series coming soon to dvd...and hence my collection, as well
saved by the bell: the college years
Everwood (season 1)
The O.C. (season 1)
