it's the most wonderful time of the year
k-mart has their christmas decorations out! (i know what you're thinking: "why were you at K-mart?" Well, I needed laundry detergent, and Target was all out of Cheer) anyway, i'm now very excited. i do love christmas. and i can't wait until the day after Thanksgiving. then, I can put my decorations up, too!

this is the true story of one person who watches way too much tv
it's been awhile since i've fallen in love with a real world cast. not since n'awlins has the mtv standard captured my heart. i watched chicago for awhile, but became disinterested. i skipped over back to new york. vegas was just trashy. even attractive people get old when all they do is get drunk and sleep together. paris i sorta followed until i moved out of 1334c, but my heart was never really there. and i caught san diego when i felt like it.

but it looks like i've fallen in love again—this time in the city of brotherly love. last night's premiere sucked me in. karamo seems as though he actually has some depth and isn't just a walking stereotype. willie is a walking stereotype, but he used to be on the PBS show Ghostwriter, and that kicks ass. mj's blissful ignorance is endearing. and there's just something about melanie that i like.

i can only hope this feeling lasts all season. please don't break my heart mtv.

is this really the guy i want cutting my hair?
the guy who cuts my hair has lots of tattoos. he's punk rock cool. he burned me a cd while he cut my hair. he said he wants to grow a rat tail.

a letter to ben kweller
dear mr. kweller,

thank you for the awesome rock show. i'm sorry for that guy. yeah, the one toward the front who was acting way too young for his age. i think he was compensating for his bald spot. we did manage to keep the people with the lighters in back, though. i hope you appreciate that, at least. anyway, maybe next time, we can rock out a little longer? that would be swell.

sincerely,
scott

parlez-vous german?
Last night, i dreamt my family came to visit me. but i didn't live in seattle. i lived in germany. i didn't speak german, though. so i kept trying to speak french to the german people. for some reason, i figured since france is closer to germany, they'd understand french more than english. they didn't.
