pretend like i update this thing
due to moving constraints, I won't be updating until the middle of next week at the earliest. if you need to get ahold of me during the move, or afterward, the e-mail and the cell phone number will stay the same for now. if i get around to it, i'll try and send out an e-mail with the new mailing address. if i get a home phone in portland, i'll include the number in the e-mail. but i'm contemplating going cell-only. cue the end of the world: part one.
that was...ummm...awkward
i've reached that point where i'm actually saying goodbye to people. as most of you know, i didn't make any great friends in seattle. i made some good friends. and i had some great coworkers. but call-them-when-you're-having-a-crisis-or-just-want-to hang-out-friends? nope. so that makes things weird when you say goodbye. do you hug? i have for a few. but it just seems weird. also weird: when people start to get emotional. don't get me wrong, i'll miss many of these people. but it's not it's like an episode of extreme makeover: home edition.
this should make you feel old
today, my little brother turned 16 and got his driver's license. cue the end of the world: part 2.

why, michael?

none of you visited me in seattle, and none of you will. today, i accepted a job at Belo's Portland station, KGW. Oregon anybody?
